World Series
Lignano Sabbiadoro
The Citi Para Swimming World Series consists of an international Paralympic swimming competition joined by athletes from almost 100 countries.
The World Series involves 9 swimming meets around the world. The competition was launched in 2017 to offer athletes more opportunities for classification and high-level competition.
Every year in march, the World Series makes a stop in Italy in Lignano Sabbiadoro.
The event is held at the Bella Italia EFA Village.
The Organising
Committee
The Local Organizing Committee of the World Series Italian event is made by people who have a great experience and a key role within the Italian Paralimpic Swimming movement.
National coaches, athletes, national advisors and other important characters have created a group whose aim is to organize an important international event.
This is a good team that have taken up the challenge issued by the International Paralympic Committee of staging, for the first time in Italy, a World Series event.
They are working hard and doing their best in order to make Lignano Sabbiadoro a big success.
We look forward to welcoming athletes from all over the world!
